VETREN

From a cave on Vetren to modern technology

According to local legend, Celtic druids in a cave at Veliki Vetren, on top of Juhor mountain, made tools that lasted for centuries.

That's how we approach chemical management too: not "quick fixes" that fail the first check, but systems that last.

Frequently asked questions

General and technical questions

How do we reconcile the classification from the SKS list with the classification from Annex VI of the EU CLP Regulation for products sold in both markets?

The list of classified substances (SKS) in Serbia is based on Annex VI of the EU CLP Regulation, but because regulation is adopted with a delay, the two lists don't fully match. If a substance in a mixture is on both lists (SKS and Annex VI), you always use the classification under the regulation in force in the market where the product is sold: for products sold in Serbia – the classification from the SKS list, and for products intended for the EU market – the classification from Annex VI of the EU CLP Regulation. In other words, the safety data sheet for Serbia and the one for the EU can differ in the classification section, depending on the version and status of the substance on each list.

When is the formulator responsible for the safety data sheet (SDS)?

The formulator is responsible for the safety data sheet of every mixture it places on the market if the mixture is classified as hazardous, contains hazardous substances above the set limits, or a professional user requests a safety data sheet.

How often does an SDS need to be updated?

A safety data sheet must be updated as soon as new information becomes available that could affect the safety or classification of the substance or mixture, or when the regulation defining its content changes.

How quickly can we get a consultation?

Usually within 1 – 2 business days, depending on current requests.

Do you work with smaller companies too?

We work with everyone – from small local manufacturers to multinational companies. Every client gets an individual approach.

Can you help if we already have an EHS team?

Of course. We often work with in-house teams as an extension of them. We offer expert support and reduce the administrative load.
